News 20-03-06
I thought I knew what the word busy meant, but I seem to be learning a new meaning for it every day! Let's just say I haven't had much time to catch up on 'Neighbours' lately, and I haven't been able to find enough time to gather inspiration and ponder my thoughts, as to write a song.

Anyway, I've noticed that these updates of mine seem to be getting a bit more regular, which is a good thing because it means that more good stuf is happening! More on the good stuff in a bit. An interesting or not so interesting fact - This year I started studying Music Business at TAFE full-time. It's pretty cool and I'm always learning something new! (I've still got a few months left of my other course which I'm doing by correspondence - Business Administration). Enough about that. Let's hope when all this study is over my Songwriting 'dry spell' will be done with!

Last Thursday I had a gig at the Sydney Junction Hotel (Newcastle) as a part of Songwriters' Live, run by Keith Armitage. I brought most of my family (which, by the way, just keeps on growing!) with me to make up half the audience. Not really but it was good to have them there! I really enjoyed being a part of Songwriters' Live again, and bumping into KB2 (Karl Broadie) who was playing just across the road! Most people stayed
really quiet during my set, it was nice to have the attention all to myself!
