Boots will give you a taste of the album to come in the same way that a pickle will give you a taste of a Big Mac. Needless to say, there are plenty more surprises in store.
Produced by labelmate and frequent collaborator, Adam Young (Big Heavy Stuff, The Daisygrinders), This Way or Some Other straddles indie rock and pop, roots music and good, old fashioned rock 'n' roll and features contributions from indie rock royalty, including Ken Gormley (The Cruel Sea) and Bow Campbell (Front End Loader) amongst many others.
Boots single is out now/ This Way or Some Other album out early 2020 on Stanley Records.

I recently released the new clip for Thorn in Your Side, so here it is! It was directed by Jeremy Dylan , produced by Ellie Willoughby, cinematography by Daniel Hartley Allen and hair & makeup by Fern Madden. It was filmed in the beautifully cold Blue Mountains of NSW. A splendid day indeed. I got to burn things, so there's that. Hope you like it!
Recently I visited one of my favourite places, Love Hz Studios in Sydney, and filmed this little number. The session was filmed by Michael Carpenter and engineered by Kylie Whitney. We recorded and filmed a few songs and here is the first one... More to come in the future :)
I'm really excited to share the film clip for my new single with you. The song is called King, and it's perhaps a little departure from my last single in terms of the mood, but hey, we all have multiple personalities, don't we? It was again shot and directed by my good friend Lyn Taylor, and features budding actor Ethan Gibson playing the part of my boyfriend (hehe). I hope you like it, and feel free to share it with your friends :)

I'm so excited to announce I am a finalist in the 2017 Golden Guitar awards in the Alt. Country category. I'm in some fine company with other finalists in this category, they have all made great albums! In January it will have been 10 years since I was a finalist in the New Talent category in 2007 with Paul Kelly's 'Jinabyne Fair'. Time flies, hey? Whatever happens, I'm looking forward to frocking up and hanging out with my friends. xo
Hi there! Well my album tour is underway and I'm excited to hit the road and head North for a couple of shows in QLD, and then south to Melbourne. Check out the tour page for all of the info. Here is the poster for the first show in Maleny.
